We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to join our infrastructure team.

As a senior infrastructure engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust IT infrastructure solutions to meet the evolving needs of our business. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the availability, stability, and performance of our datacentres, platforms, and corporate systems. To achieve this, you will need to have in-depth knowledge of AIX operating system administration, as well as experience with automation scripting and latest server and storage technologies.

You will also be responsible for managing and resolving issues logs, performing scheduled maintenance to minimize disruption, and managing third-party support contracts where required to provide support levels.

In addition, you will play a key role in ensuring the security and integrity of our network and systems by following existing policies and procedures, documenting for audit purposes as required by ISO27001, implementing security projects, completing risk assessments, and building guides for new and existing systems.

The ideal candidate will have a degree-qualified background or equivalent industry certifications and experience. You will also need to possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and take initiative, drive change, and new technologies and methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Performance: Ensure performance SLA's are met every month for systems that you are responsible for.
  • Information Security: Ensure the FNZ network and systems are internally and externally secure.
  • Business Continuity: Ensure FNZ-held data is secure and backed up.
