About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to oversee the implementation of risk systems related to regulatory and digitization initiatives within the Risk Management division.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, executing, tracking, and implementing both functional and technical requirements in the Risk domain.
  • This includes overseeing and monitoring multiple workstreams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
  • Ensuring effective application management and production stability following change deployments is also a key responsibility.
  • The role requires strong collaboration with business, IT, and support teams to drive stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and govern project execution across the full SDLC-planning, analysis, development, testing, and support.
  • Ensure timely delivery of milestones within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Drive adherence to non-functional requirements and maintain proper documentation standards.
  • Review and finalize solution architectures in collaboration with teams like Architecture, Data, ISG, and Security.
  • Provide strategic direction and technical guidance to teams without direct involvement in execution.

Project Delivery:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans to ensure timely delivery of milestones within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with project execution.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders to ensure transparency and status updates.
  • Monitor project timelines and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

Application Ownership:

  • Take ownership of Risk domain applications in the cluster.
  • Be accountable for application stability, performance, and operational resilience.
  • Drive resolution of critical production issues, root cause analysis, and preventive action planning.
  • Establish a roadmap for future upgrades and scalability of the application landscape.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of total experience in the technology domain within Banking and Financial Services.
  • Managing and implementing risk-related applications like OFSAA IFRS9, Financial SpreadingSpreadsmart, App4legal.
  • Strong techno-functional expertise in OFSAA IFRS9, Basel, Financial Spreading tools (Spreadsmart), App4Legal, or similar analytical solutions.
  • Proficient in Oracle, SQL Server with strong knowledge in Data transformation techniques and writing SQL and PL/SQL codes.
  • Hands-on experience in data warehousing technologies and tools like Informatica and OFSAA.
  • UNIX shell scripting experience is an added advantage.
