Senior Design Lead Role

We are seeking a Senior Design Lead to spearhead our engineering projects, driving senior roles in project work and collaborating closely with our team to deliver high-quality results.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare comprehensive feasibility study reports meeting client requirements and review them with the project lead.
  • Work with our team to develop design specifications aligned with client needs and ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with project leads to define building requirements and purposes of use for detailed design.
  • Carry out detailed design per client specifications, incorporating complex calculations and coordination, quality assurance, and technical review, with sign-off by the project lead.
  • Review and monitor calculation production, including quality assurance, technical reviews, and sign-offs.
  • Ensure accurate project costing preparation information is completed on time and keep the project team informed about design progress through explanation of design decisions.
  • Coordinate project contracts documents (drawings and specifications) and review input from team members.
  • Lead the design process, promoting cost-effective solutions within agreed programs.
  • Fully implement document control and quality assurance processes relevant to project work, ensuring drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence are issued and filed appropriately.
  • Manage a team of Engineers and Revit Technicians.
