RSM's Intelligent Automation group advises on clients' process optimization initiatives, for which the group uses a suite of automation technologies. We leverage digital process automation, robotic process automation, and intelligent document processing tools to deliver impactful results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and develop automation solutions
  • Provide analysis, development, and documentation of automation opportunities
  • Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
  • Participate in end-to-end automation projects, from planning to go-live
  • Collaborate with clients, technicians, and stakeholders to design and build impactful automation solutions
  • Facilitate user workshops to gather and document business needs and requirements
  • Update and implement business procedures
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements
  • Network internally and externally to develop sales opportunities
  • Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff
  • Continuously learn to better understand our array of services and enhance value to the client through integration
  • Aspire to career growth by assuming more active roles in projects over time, as knowledge and experience progress

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and/or a technology-focused MBA
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working in Appian
  • Appian level 1 certified
  • Knowledge of business process management and reengineering
  • Experience with integrations with web services, databases, and other systems
  • Understanding of process design and building dynamic user interfaces
  • Ability to understand and resolve technical issues within Appian
  • Proficient in working with Agile methodology using tools like JIRA
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including high-impact client-facing communications
  • Ability to work successfully in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Highly self-motivated and directed character with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
  • Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to apply theoretical concepts and best practices to solve business problems
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50% locally and nationally
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong computer skills, experience with various software solutions like Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong data manipulation skills utilizing Excel, including database knowledge, and experience with Microsoft SQL and/or Access
  • Previous experience with operational process reviews and basic internal control requirements
  • Appian level 2 or 3 certified
  • Prior technical experience using the Appian Low Code Platform
  • Experience with RPA tools like UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere, Power Automate Desktop with a preference for the Automation Anywhere product and its accompanying solutions
  • Experience with process intelligence or process discovery solutions like Fortress IQ, Celonis, ABBYY Timeline
  • Experience with intelligent document process solutions like IQ Bot/Document Automation, ABBYY Vantage
