Job Title: Senior Process Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to lead and manage process engineering projects from concept to completion.

This role requires a strong understanding of process design, optimization, and safety principles. The ideal candidate will have experience with process simulation software, project management, and leading engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Optimize Process Designs: Design and optimize process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Conduct Feasibility Studies: Conduct feasibility studies, process simulations, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential issues.
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
  • Provide Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Evaluate Project Progress: Continuously monitor and improve existing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 8 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the chemical, petrochemical, or oil and gas industries.
  • Skills: Proficiency in process simulation software, e.g., Aspen HYSYS, CHEMCAD, Strong knowledge of process design, optimization, and safety principles.
  • Leadership: Experience with project management and leading engineering teams.
  • Critical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with advanced process control systems and automation, and knowledge of sustainability practices and energy efficiency improvements.
