Expert IT Infrastructure Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Expert IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee the administration and maintenance of our IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple complex systems, including MySQL databases and Linux servers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Administration: Manage installation, configuration, upgrade, and monitoring of replication setup and database health.
  • Server Management: Oversee user access management, process monitoring, cron job management, package updates, and system resource checks.
  • Backup and Recovery: Implement and monitor backup and recovery processes using tools like mysqldump or Percona XtraBackup.
  • Patching and Upgrades: Perform routine patching, upgrades, and security hardening for MySQL and Linux environments.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with proper RCA inputs.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base documentation.

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing complex IT infrastructure systems.
  • Strong understanding of database administration and server management.
  • Ability to implement and monitor backup and recovery processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
