Observability Engineer - System Reliability ExpertWe are seeking an experienced Observability Engineer with a strong background in system reliability and monitoring initiatives to join our team. As a key member of the Observability product group, you will be responsible for designing, building, and fine-tuning platform components that enable real-time visibility into the performance and health of our systems.
  • Troubleshoot complex platform issues and restore service by resolving customer-facing incidents using expertise in integration engineering related to Observability / Monitoring framework with open source technologies such as Grafana, Mimir, Loki, Tempo, Fluentbit, Vector etc.
  • Develop and implement build release pipelines with accountability for managing deployment schedules, issues, risks, and impediments in agile development environments.
  • Collaborate with the Lead engineer, performance team, data ingestion, platform DevOps, and data visualization teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of the Observability product.
  • Provide technical guidance in the diagnosis of issues as they arise in support of critical applications and services.
Requirements
  • 4-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in integration engineering related to Observability / Monitoring framework with open source technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with tools and technology is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Azure foundation components, databases, and monitoring tools is required.
