Purpose and Scope of the Role

This position requires a meticulous and experienced professional with expertise in Regulatory Reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in banking, regulatory knowledge, and relevant skills.

  1. Conduct thorough product assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  2. Monitor daily regulatory compliance requirements and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  3. Develop robust control frameworks for banking products and services.
  4. Implement Know Your Customer (KYC) guidelines and track regulatory circulars to ensure compliance.
  5. Prepare and submit high-quality regulatory reports that meet jurisdictional guidelines.
  6. Review and reconcile data sources for regulatory reporting purposes.
  7. Ensure customer onboarding processes align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver accurate and timely reports.
  9. Maintain comprehensive documentation and audit trails for submissions.
  10. Support data submissions to regulatory bodies and stakeholders.

The incumbent serves as a catalyst for managing the entire control lifecycle across entities, driving efficiency and effectiveness.

The incumbent is expected to be well-versed in existing norms, guidelines, and regulations of various regulatory bodies, including RBI, UIDAI, CERSAI, NeSL, CRILIC, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, and relevant URLs.

The incumbent provides thought leadership and process improvement initiatives by demonstrating control across audit observations, risk scorecards, and compliance for reporting purposes.

Key performance indicators include updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on regulatory guidelines and compliances, periodic onboarding due diligence, clean compliance, and reporting without audit observations.
