Lead Enterprise Data Governance Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Enterprise Data Governance Strategist to design and lead enterprise-wide data governance strategies, architecture, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain data governance architecture frameworks and metadata models.
  2. Establish policies, standards, and procedures for compliance processes.
  3. Conduct maturity assessments and change management efforts.
  4. Evaluate and recommend data governance tools to meet business needs.
  5. Design architectural patterns for data catalog, quality, metadata management, lineage, security, and master data management across various platforms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance techniques, methodologies, and experience in data governance initiatives.
  • 7+ years of experience in data governance architecture and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with design and implementation of architectural patterns for data quality, metadata management, lineage, and MDM.
  • Expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical).
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python/Java for integration and automation.
  • Understanding of data governance principles and compliance practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of big data technologies and data visualization and BI tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
