Job Summary

As a Senior Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing big data-based data governance solutions.

  • Lead technical management across the full life cycle of data-based data governance projects from requirement gathering and analysis to platform selection, design of the architecture, and deployment.
  • Scale solutions in cloud-based infrastructure or non-cloud options and configure custom settings as needed.
  • Collaborate with business consultants, analysts, data scientists, senior data engineers, and developers to develop data solutions.
  • Explore new technologies for creative business problem-solving and assist in generating net new business.
  • Lead and mentor a team of data governance engineers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 10+ years of technical experience with knowledge of Python/GenAI (a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Governance tool Solutions/implementations, such as Alation, Collibra, Atlan, Purview, Unity Catalog, or others.
  • Hands-on experience with Data Governance Solutions and good understanding of:
    • Data Catalog
    • Business Glossary
    • Business metadata, technical metadata, operational Metadata
    • Data Quality (IDQ, Anomalo, IceDQ, custom DQ APIs)
    • Data Profiling
    • Data Lineage
    • Automation on any of the above

Key Expertise and Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with technologies like Monte Carlo, Anomalo, Atlan, Collibra, Alation, IDQ, IDMC (CDQ & CDGC), Ataccama, Immuta, Unity Catalog, Securiti.ai, and relevant Azure, AWS/GCP components required to build data solutions.
  • Good to know: Databricks, Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with designing/building large cloud-computing infrastructure solutions in Azure/AWS/GCP.
  • Experience with data quality, governance, metadata management (including catalog and lineage) design and implementation.
  • Full life cycle of a data governance solution.
  • Installation and administration of tools like those mentioned above (a plus).
  • Experience in building monitoring, dashboards, debugging, and performance tuning.
