Portfolio Research Analyst Job Description

Redefining banking experience for non-resident Indians, we are seeking a detail-oriented Portfolio Research Analyst to join our team.

  • We conduct portfolio analysis and rebalancing to optimize asset allocation and manage risk-adjusted returns.
  • We perform research and due diligence on Mutual Funds (MFs), Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), and Portfolio Management Services (PMS) products to support investment recommendations.
  • We monitor and track performance of client portfolios against benchmarks and market trends.
  • We collaborate with portfolio managers to design customized investment strategies.
  • We prepare investment research reports, presentations, and client notes.
  • We support in creating model portfolios and recommending rebalancing strategies based on market movements.
  • We ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as SEBI guidelines and investment policies.
  • We continuously monitor macroeconomic indicators, sectoral developments, and fund manager strategies to provide timely inputs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field is preferred.
  • Professional certifications like CFA, CAIA, CFP, NISM are highly valued.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in portfolio research, wealth management, or investment advisory.
  • Strong understanding of portfolio rebalancing techniques and asset allocation models.
  • In-depth knowledge of Mutual Funds, AIFs, and PMS structures, strategies, and regulatory aspects.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, MS Excel, and analytical tools like Bloomberg, Morningstar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex data simply.
