Lead Global Compassion's fundraising efforts to deliver predictable, diversified funding and lifetime donor value while strengthening the organization as a thought leader.Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy & Implementation
    • Develop a multi-year fundraising strategy with targets by segment and by program.
    • Own the full donor lifecycle from research to stewardship.
    • Design long-term giving vehicles.
    • Create a balanced pipeline of prospects.
  • Partnerships & External Relations
    • Represent Global Compassion with credibility and build trust with diverse stakeholders.
    • Secure strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, and high-influence networks in India and abroad.
    • Co-create bespoke propositions with donors.
  • Brand & Communications
    • Partner with Comms to run an integrated brand + fundraising calendar.
    • Oversee investment-grade proposals and decks.
    • Build crisis-ready messaging and success-story pipelines.
  • Team, Systems & Governance
    • Lead fundraising efforts across the organization.
    • Collaborate with global teams.
    • Implement a CRM or DMS.
    • Establish clear SOPs, approval matrices, and data hygiene.
    • Ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Budgeting, Reporting & KPIs
    • Own the fund development budget.
    • Track ROI by channel.
    • Provide monthly board-ready dashboards.
    Requirements:
    • Master's in Marketing/Business/Communications or related field.
    • 8-10+ years of direct fundraising experience with a proven track record in major-gifts and institutional fundraising.
    • Experience launching or scaling new initiatives.
    • Strong grasp of donor management, digital marketing, brand positioning, and campaign/event orchestration.
    • Regulatory fluency and governance sensibility.
    • Excellent written/oral communication skills.
    • G-Suite & CRM proficiency.

Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and expertise.
