Project Leadership Role

This position is responsible for overseeing the implementation, integration, and enhancement of a retail point-of-sale system within a retail environment. The role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Project planning and execution: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Manage project execution, ensuring deliverables are on track and within scope.
  • Resource management: Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, architects, and the product team. Allocate resources efficiently to meet project timelines.
  • Process improvement: Promote and implement best practices for software development and project management. Regularly review and refine processes to improve efficiency.
  • Documentation and reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all project phases. Generate and distribute regular status reports to stakeholders and senior management.

Key Skills Required

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong project planning and execution skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Technical expertise in Java, Oracle DB, and Webservices
  • Experience with agile projects and JIRA tool
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification
