Key Roles and Responsibilities

As a Senior Financial Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial strategy, controls, compliance, and reporting functions. You will lead the development of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Develop and implement internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes aligned with crypto asset flows.
  • Manage periodic audits—statutory, internal, regulatory—and act as the primary point of contact for auditors.
  • Collaborate with compliance and legal teams on AML, KYC, tax, and regulatory filings.

Leadership Role:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in finance operations, ensuring robust financial controls and regulatory obligations are met. They will also have experience in managing vendor payments, revenue recognition, and financial operations.

Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3–5 years in fintech or payments companies.
  • A comprehensive grasp of regulatory reporting frameworks applicable to Fintech firms.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing statutory and regulatory audits, and a history of collaboration with tier 1 audit firms.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain financial systems, processes, and procedures aligned with business objectives.
  • CA / CPA/ ACCA certification (in addition CFA certification is preferred).

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with Crypto payment or infrastructure space
  • Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional licensing
  • Exposure to UAE tax accounting and cross-border payments framework
