We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network design, implementation, and support.

In this role, you will be responsible for handling network outage calls, managing service requests, and planning upgrades to firmware and IOS.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to document technical information effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage P3 to P5 service requests.
  • Document reason for outage.
  • Plan and perform upgrades to firmware and IOS.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in network and/or network security.

Skills:

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a 24x7 rotational shift.
  • Willingness to take initiatives for individual projects as well as work in a team environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of network operating systems, network equipment, and networking protocols.
  • Well-versed in Content Filtering of Cisco WSA.
  • Experience with network installations, implementations, and configurations.
  • Familiarity with Cisco Firewalls (ASA, FWSM), Cisco IPSEC, and IPS Modules/Appliances.
  • Knowledge of routers and switches, including Cisco7600, ASR 1000, ISR/Cisco6500, and Cisco Nexus.
  • Experience with network and server load balancers.
  • Familiarity with network management systems like Solarwind, Network Flow, and Splunk.
  • Ability to evaluate technological needs and recommend appropriate solutions using standards and best practices.
  • Understanding of how to escalate issues with vendor partners to drive resolution.
