Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the front-end development of our retail POS system.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Retail POS journeys, efficient stakeholder management, and effective communication skills.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment with resources from Alshaya and other external partners.

You will provide input on best practices of solution design and UI/UX, conduct product demos, and user trainings.

In this position, you will maintain a positive attitude, effectively communicate with all partners, and take personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of your work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Expertise in React Native Development: You will build high-quality mobile applications using React Native, with a deep understanding of Atomic Design principles, custom hooks, and Dependency Injection.
  • State Management: You will use Redux-Saga, Redux Toolkit, JavaScript, and TypeScript for efficient state management.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: You will use Enzyme and Jest for unit and integration testing to ensure robust and reliable code.
  • Version Control and Collaboration: You will use Git, Azure Repos, and Jira while working in Agile development environments.
  • UI Development: You will use Storybook for developing and testing UI components in isolation.
  • Native Module Integration: You will write bridges for native modules on both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Performance Optimization: You will identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure seamless app performance.
  • DevOps and Deployment: You will create and maintain development/store certificates and provisioning profiles for iOS and Android apps.
  • Analytics and Notifications: You will integrate Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, push notifications, and manage third-party SDKs.
  • Code Quality and Security: You will identify and fix vulnerabilities reported by tools like SonarQube.
