Production Planning Architect

The Production Planning Architect will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and support of SAP Best Practices in the production planning domain. This role requires a strong understanding of business process areas and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Provide analysis, advisory services, specifications, and complex problem-solving within the SAP area.
  • Lead and assist in SAP design sessions or blueprint workshops.
  • Expertise in hand-holding with business users and impact analysis.
  • Validate and enhance integration points between finance, strategy, and planning processes, as well as SAP components like Fiori, Portal, Analytics, and other allied systems.

Requirements: 10-15 years of work experience in manufacturing companies, with a strong background in SAP S4HANA implementations and support projects.

Domain-Specific Work Experience: A minimum of 5 years of SAP HANA experience supporting processes such as MPS/MRP, Planned Order, MD04 exception resolution, capacity planning, production order vs. material consumption analysis, component availability check, goods issue, goods receipt, confirmation, production order close, TECO, business completion, and good knowledge of production cycles, interfaces, and handling units.

Integration Points: Experience in PP integration points with other SAP modules like MM, SD, FI-CO, HR, and PM. Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects simultaneously.

Educational Qualifications: B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, MBA, or equivalent qualifications.

Professional & Technical Qualifications (Optional): ABAP Knowledge, SAP Certified, PMP, experience in data design, data classification, and data security.
