Editorial Content Specialist

Essential responsibilities involve the creation, editing and publishing of high-quality sports content. As a key member of our editorial team, you will refine and elevate published material through collaboration with writers, editors and content managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a high-volume article publication schedule, ensuring fact-checking, research and audience relevance.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to refine and enhance published content.
  • Work collaboratively with the content quality team to ensure consistency and excellence in output.
  • Mentor and support writers in their development as contributors.
  • Stay informed about current events and ensure timely publication of relevant content.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism or a related field.
  • At least 6-12 months of experience in sports content editing, proofreading or related roles.
  • Strong command of the English language and understanding of American culture.
  • Effective leadership skills to inspire and guide a team of writers.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles, including engaging headings and subheadings.
