Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Design and implement scalable Big Data infrastructure to support global-scale digital map-making.">
  • Collaborate with researchers, developers, and architects to develop, deploy, and maintain applications in multiple environments.">
  • Develop and test analytic and statistical models to improve internal data-driven processes and system control needs.">
  • Act as an expert and evangelist in areas of data mining, machine learning, statistics, and predictive analysis and modeling.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • MS or PhD in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or Econometrics with emphasis on computational statistics/science/engineering, data mining, machine learning, and optimization.">
  • 7+ years of related professional experience.">
  • Expert-level knowledge in data mining and analytic methods such as regression, classifiers, clustering, association rules, decision trees, Bayesian network analysis.">
  • Knowledge of Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Point Cloud Processing algorithms.">
  • Proficiency with Python, R, Matlab, SAS, SQL, shell script, and programming languages.">
  • Experience with Hadoop and/or Spark for data extraction and data prep for analysis.">
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.">
