Proposal Writer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Writer to produce high-quality proposal content that clearly articulates our value proposition.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability and skills in producing and editing proposal content, including experience in participating in review meetings and final document review.

This role is responsible for leading responses to Public Sector RFPs at the IDIQ and TO level, analyzing RFPs/RFIs/RFQs to prepare response outlines and compliance matrices, researching and writing compliant technical material and compelling proposal content.

The ideal candidate will have strong time management and prioritization skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Lead storyboard sessions with Bid/Proposal team members and key stakeholders.
  • Research, development, planning, and writing of compliant technical material and compelling proposal content.
  • Proactively interact with subject matter experts.
  • Assist the Bid/Proposal Manager in developing a proposal.
  • Deliver completed written proposal responses to the Proposal Manager against agreed RFP deadlines.
