Chief Information Security Officer

Our organization is seeking a seasoned Information Security Leader to spearhead our information security strategy and operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive information security framework, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data, systems, and assets. Additionally, they will manage security risks and compliance requirements across our diverse business units.
This strategic role requires strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to influence senior executives, peers, and external partners. The successful candidate will have at least 20 years of progressive experience in information security, risk management, or related domains.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Information Security Framework: Define and implement industry-benchmarked information security policies, standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Establish Governance Structure: Maintain an information security governance structure, including roles, responsibilities, committees, processes, and metrics to measure performance.
- Lead Information Security Team: Manage a team of information security professionals, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Oversee Security Operations: Identify, prevent, detect, respond to, and recover from cyber threats and incidents.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business units, IT teams, internal audit, legal, and compliance teams to ensure integrated information security policies and controls.
- Experience: At least 20 years of progressive experience in information security, risk management, or related domains.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- Certifications: Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; strategic vision; ability to balance big picture and details.
