Senior Data Scientist and AI Engineer

Seeking an accomplished Data and AI expert to spearhead the development of cutting-edge data platforms and artificial intelligence systems.

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and reliable data pipelines, data lakes, and real-time data streams
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of machine learning models, from experimentation and feature engineering to deployment, monitoring, and upkeep in a production environment (MLOps)
  • Serve as a technical mentor, guiding junior engineers, setting best practices, and conducting code reviews to ensure high-quality and efficient code
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and software engineers, to deliver integrated solutions

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in AI/ML and data engineering is essential
  • A proven track record of designing and implementing scalable AI systems in a production environment with a deep understanding of MLOps principles and tools is required
  • Proficiency with modern data platforms and tools, such as Databricks, Snowflake, Apache Spark, Flink, Airflow, and Kafka, is necessary
  • A strong command of at least one major ML framework, like TensorFlow or PyTorch, is required
  • Experience with large language models (LLMs) and other generative AI technologies is a significant plus
  • Exposure to LLMs like Open AI, Claude, Gemini, and frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, and LangFlow is desirable
  • Expert-level proficiency in at least one key programming language, such as Python, Scala, or Java, is essential
