About the Role

Vikram Tea is a renowned tea brand with a rich history dating back to 1975. Our mission is to deliver exceptional tea experiences to our customers.

As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic planning and market development.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Market Development: Developing and executing business plans to increase market share through brand awareness and advertising.
  • Identifying opportunities in target markets and selecting relevant products for data-driven decision making.
  • Driving short-term and long-term market penetration strategies.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Sales and Channel Management: Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, vendors, and business partners.
  • Relationship and Stakeholder Management: Negotiating contracts, terminating contracts when necessary, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Marketing and Brand Development: Implementing brand awareness campaigns and product launches in MT channels.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Preparing financial reports, analyzing market trends and customer data, and managing inventory levels.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 7-10 years of experience in Modern Trade Sales, preferably in the tea or food segments.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with MT platforms and retail chains.
  • Strong business planning and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
