Database Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Engineer to join our team. As an expert in database management and optimization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the robustness and performance of our databases.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database engineering, with experience in managing complex databases and developing high-performance data pipelines. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems that meet the needs of our business. This includes ensuring data consistency, security, and integrity, as well as optimizing database performance and scalability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent knowledge of database management systems, including Azure PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in managing Database driven application and pipeline development using Azure PostgreSQL and SQL Server Database.
  • Security Understanding: Strong understanding of security principles in the context of data.
  • Data Transformation: Ability to write, debug, and optimize data transformations and datasets.
  • ETL Solutions: Extensive experience in designing and implementing ETL solutions using Azure Database or similar technologies.
  • CI/CD: Proficiency with CI/CD set for database objects release management.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Agile Experience: Experience working in Agile (Scrum, Kanban etc..) development process.
