Electronics Hardware Engineer Job Description

This role requires the creation and development of electronic hardware products. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and test innovative electronics.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic systems design, analog and digital circuit knowledge, and experience with PCB CAD and circuit simulators.

  • Electronic Systems Design: Develop and implement designs for electronic systems using industry-standard tools and techniques.
  • Analog and Digital Circuit Knowledge: Apply knowledge of analog and digital circuits to design and troubleshoot complex electronic systems.
  • PCB CAD and Circuit Simulators: Utilize PCB CAD and circuit simulators to design, analyze, and test electronic circuits.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent skills in Electronic Systems design, Electronics Troubleshooting, Electronic Testing
  • Solid understanding of high-speed microprocessors, architectural circuit design, and different micro-controller circuit designs
  • Strong knowledge in SPI, I2C, USB, 232/485 Serial and Ethernet interface designs
  • Experience in power over line communications and faults detection
  • Ability to estimate hardware design tasks, identify risks, and plan development
  • Proficiency in creating, interpreting, and reviewing electrical schematics
  • Knowledge of PCB materials, fabrication processes, and assembly/manufacturing methods
  • Extensive experience using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, variac load resistors, AC/DC supplies
  • Proficiency in using PCB CAD and circuit simulators and analysis tools – Mentor Graphics, SPICE, PSPICE, and HSPICE
