Job Overview

The company seeks an experienced electronics hardware engineer to be a key member of the design team. As an Advance Hardware Engineer, you will play a vital role in assisting project leaders with requirements management, circuit design, analysis, and testing of aerospace electronics products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing electronic circuits, selecting components, and designing analog and digital circuits
  • Conducting tolerance, power, thermal, and worst-case analyses
  • Collaborating with layout engineers for implementation and creating guidelines for board layout
  • Board bring-up and testing
  • Environmental testing
  • Ensuring process and quality compliance
  • Providing technical guidance on design and implementation decisions
  • Participating in high-level and low-level design reviews
  • Analyzing problems, identifying root causes, and developing solutions
  • Utilizing technical expertise and problem-solving skills to establish effective solutions for complex issues
  • Exercising judgment when selecting methods and evaluation criteria
  • Generating and implementing solutions that meet industry standards
  • Contributing to technology roadmaps for product HW and platforms

Requirements:

  • BE/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Power Electronics with 7-8 years of experience
  • Understanding of electronics hardware involving digital/microprocessor circuits fundamentals, power and EMI circuits
  • Electrical design experience with High-Speed Digital or Mixed Signal Design
  • Practical experience in analyzing and troubleshooting electronics circuits
  • Ability to simplify circuits and explain concepts clearly
  • Technical leadership and guidance skills
  • Self-motivation, focus on results, sense of urgency, and ability to work under pressure
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with EMI/EMC design, RF Conducted and Radiated Emissions/Susceptibility Testing, and grounding/shielding techniques
  • Knowledge of board design, EMI Filter design, Lightning Analysis, and component selection
  • Familiarity with schematic and layout tools – Dx Designer, Hyperlynx DRC, Hyperlynx SI
Skills and Qualifications
  • Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of hardware systems, processes, and frameworks (CMMi, AS9100C, Six-Sigma)
  • Experience working in matrix organizations with solid and dotted line reporting
