Software Developer Engineer II Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Developer Engineer II to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify e-commerce websites.

  • This involves extending theme's functionality for custom cart, filters, or similar requirements.
  • You will work with metaobject and metafield structuring for complex data structures.
  • Collaborate with designers and other developers to understand key problems and implement solutions with the right approach.
About This Role

This position is ideal for individuals with experience in front-end JavaScript libraries like React, Vue, Svelte, etc.

  • Competence in Vanilla JavaScript (ES6) including async JavaScript is also required.
  • You should have excellent communication skills with ability to clearly document and report issues.
  • A strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset is necessary for success in this role.
Required Skills

For this role, we require the following skills:

  • Experience with Liquid and SCSS (or tailwind/MUI).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify metaobject and metafield structures is advantageous.
