About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Quality Management Team and oversee all quality assurance and control processes at our manufacturing facility for low-voltage electrical panels.

This role requires a strong understanding of industry standards, customer requirements, and internal quality objectives. The successful candidate will lead a team of quality professionals, drive continuous improvement, and maintain the highest standards of product reliability and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards for LV electrical panel manufacturing.
  • Monitor and control quality processes across all stages of production, from raw material inspection to final product testing.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians to achieve quality objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., IEC, UL, BIS) and customer-specific requirements for LV electrical panels.
  • Drive initiatives for process optimization, defect reduction, and quality improvement using tools like Six Sigma, Lean, and root cause analysis.
  • Oversee testing procedures, including dielectric tests, temperature rise tests, and short-circuit withstand tests, to ensure product reliability and safety.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality specifications and conduct supplier audits as needed.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related customer queries, complaints, and audits.
  • Maintain accurate quality records, prepare reports, and present quality performance metrics to senior management.
  • Identify potential quality risks and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to mitigate them.
  • Conduct training programs for employees on quality standards, processes, and best practices.
About You

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quality management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the LV electrical panel or similar electrical manufacturing industry.

You should have expertise in QMS, Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical process control (SPC), proficiency in quality tools like FMEA, Pareto charts, and root cause analysis, and strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards is highly desirable.
