PMD Electrician

The PMD Electrician plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our facility's electrical systems. This includes performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and machinery. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and be able to work independently as well as collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operations.

• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on electrical systems, motors, control panels, and wiring to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair electrical issues in equipment, such as motors, switches, relays, and PLCs, to minimize downtime.
• Electrical Inspections: Perform regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential problems and take corrective action to prevent unexpected failures.
• Equipment Installation: Assist in the installation, setup, and calibration of new electrical equipment and machinery in accordance with operational requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections, updating logs and creating reports as needed.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage stock levels of electrical supplies and components, coordinating with procurement to ensure timely replenishment.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce adherence to electrical safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and PPE requirements, to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with mechanical maintenance, engineering, and production teams to support operational needs and minimize downtime.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, including motors, control panels, and wiring.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, making repairs or adjustments as needed.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and management.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and maintain accurate records.
