Operational Risk Management Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Operational Risk Management Specialist to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop risk assessment frameworks and methodologies to identify and evaluate operational risks.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and reviews to identify potential operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor operational risk indicators and metrics, prepare and present risk reports to senior management, and manage regular risk meetings with stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and updating of operational risk policies and procedures, ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements, and liaise with regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of operational risk management frameworks, risk identification, monitoring, mitigation, and reporting techniques and systems.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in a risk management role, preferably in an NBFC or financial services environment.
  • Detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Skills:

  • Operational risk and knowledge of operational risk management framework.
  • Risk Identification, Risk Monitoring, Risk Mitigation, Risk Reporting Techniques and systems.
  • Strong analytical aptitude and logical reasoning ability.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, PowerBI or other data visualization tools.
