Visual Designer Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Visual Designer to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of design principles and be able to apply them across various projects, delivering high-quality visual solutions that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create visually appealing designs that effectively communicate brand identity and key messages.
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines for all outputs, ensuring consistency across marketing channels.
  • Design motion graphics, short videos, and micro-interactions using After Effects or Premiere Pro, bringing creative concepts to life.
  • Utilize GenAI as an assistant to create high-quality visuals, enhancing the overall design process.
  • Build scalable, reusable assets and templates for other teams, promoting collaboration and efficiency.
  • Design for events and print materials, from trade show booths to offline experiences, engaging target audiences.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns, social media, advertising, and collateral, ensuring cohesive messaging.
  • Work with UX/UI designers on visual elements, mockups, and screens, integrating design principles into product development.
  • Create visual case studies showcasing product and engineering work, highlighting successes and opportunities for growth.
  • Apply design principles with intent, considering audience, context, and business goals, driving results-driven design decisions.
Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of the design process and visual fundamentals: typography, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy, providing a solid foundation for design excellence.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Illustrator, or equivalent tools, enabling efficient creation and iteration of design concepts.
  • Working knowledge of After Effects or Premiere Pro, allowing for effective implementation of motion graphics and video content.
  • A portfolio demonstrating range across brands, products, and motion is a bonus, showcasing versatility and adaptability.
  • Ability to turn loose briefs or abstract ideas into clear and usable designs, applying creativity and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX is helpful but not essential, as we value self-motivation and willingness to learn.
