Network Architectural Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Network Architectural Expert to join our team of technology consulting specialists. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to utilize their expertise in designing and implementing cutting-edge network solutions.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise-grade network infrastructure design and configuration across various environments. They will be responsible for developing low-latency network solutions for real-time data and trading environments, ensuring seamless connectivity and resilience for business-critical systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and configure enterprise-grade network infrastructure across data centres, office sites, and cloud environments.
  • Implement and support routing, switching, load balancing, and firewall solutions to ensure high availability and security.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex connectivity issues, and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new applications and platforms into the existing network architecture.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise or financial services environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco and/or Juniper networking technologies.
  • Expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel).
  • Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco ASA) and network security best practices.
  • Proven track record in low-latency networking and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with load balancers (F5, Citrix ADC) and WAN optimisation tools.
  • Knowledge of network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, or equivalent).
  • Understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and hybrid architectures.
  • Relevant certifications (CCNP, JNCIP, PCNSE) are highly desirable.
