Enterprise Middleware Administrator

We are seeking an experienced middleware administrator to manage and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server environments in support of enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and deployment support across development, testing, and production environments.

  • Install, configure, and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server instances (11g/12c/14c).
  • Manage domain configurations, clusters, JDBC, JMS, and security realms.
  • Perform deployment, patching, and upgrades of WebLogic and hosted applications.
  • Monitor server health, troubleshoot runtime issues, and optimize performance.
  • Work closely with developers, DBAs, and other infrastructure teams to support application lifecycles.
  • Automate routine administration tasks using shell scripting, WLST, or other scripting tools.
  • Manage SSL/TLS certificates, keystores, and WebLogic security configurations.
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness of middleware platforms.
  • Document configurations, procedures, and operational guidelines.
Required Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required.

8+ years of experience in WebLogic administration in enterprise environments is essential.

Strong expertise in WebLogic Server installation, clustering, tuning, and solid knowledge of Java EE architecture, application deployment, and middleware concepts are necessary.

Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and scripting (Shell, Python, WLST) is also required.

Working knowledge of load balancers (e.g., F5), firewalls, and network configurations is desired.

Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Oracle Enterprise Manager, Nagios, Prometheus) is a plus.
