As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Consultant, you'll play a critical role in achieving this mission by designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions using Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate system specifications and provision application infrastructure
  • Define and drive Azure Architecture decisions to ensure stability, reliability, and availability of applications and services
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and configuration management using Ansible or Chef
  • Create and configure CI pipelines to support continuous delivery
  • Implement and document standards for auto-scaling infrastructure
  • Administer Windows and Linux servers, including configuration, patching, and ensuring overall server health
  • Analyze existing application infrastructure and recommend modifications to enhance reliability, availability, and scalability
  • Engage in capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning
  • Use performance analysis tools like APM and monitoring tools to identify system performance issues and bottlenecks
  • Work with log aggregation tools like Splunk

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of hands-on experience with Azure/Public Cloud ecosystem, infrastructure automation, and monitoring tools
  • Experience in migrating and transforming existing systems to the cloud using Azure tools and best practices
  • Practical experience with AKS, Envoy, Nginx, Helm, API gateway, Service Mesh
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Python, PowerShell, or Java
  • Knowledge of Terraform for cross-platform cloud provisioning
  • Expertise in identifying and mitigating infrastructure security vulnerabilities
  • Expertise in managing cost-optimized infrastructure setups
  • Expertise in setting monitors, triggers, alerts, and managing infrastructure on highest availability and reliability standards
  • Specialization in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for container orchestration
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps or GitHub and knowledge of using them for continuous integration, continuous delivery, pipelines, and Git version control
  • Proven skills in Azure networking, such as configuring virtual networks, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills to handle complex challenges and issues
  • Proven team player attitude and willingness to collaborate with others

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications with Azure
  • Any relevant industry certifications
  • Experience in supporting cloud migration in Azure
  • Scripting experience (Bash, Ruby, Python, etc.)
  • APM experience with Splunk, New Relic, Dynatrace
