Fixed Assets Manager Job Overview

As a key member of our organization, the Fixed Assets Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of fixed assets, from acquisition to disposal.

  • Asset Management:
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of fixed assets, including their purchase, depreciation, and disposal.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of assets to ensure they remain in good working condition.
  • Develop and implement asset management policies and procedures to optimize asset utilization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the fixed assets register, ensuring that all assets are accurately recorded and accounted for.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless integration of asset management practices across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and prices.
  • Prepare and present regular asset management reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations affecting asset management and ensure compliance throughout the organization.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Commerce (M.com) with at least 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex asset portfolios and implementing effective asset management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with asset management.
