Job Overview

The Fabric Merchandiser plays a pivotal role in planning and executing fabric procurement strategies. This individual will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers to meet customer demands, while ensuring timely delivery and maintaining inventory levels.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement effective purchasing plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify suitable suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of orders and resolve any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage vendor relationships and maintain accurate records of communication and agreements.
  • Monitor stock levels and place replenishment orders as needed to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform purchasing decisions and optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
