Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support and maintenance services to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in mechanical or electrical fundamentals and a basic understanding of industrial machinery. Problem-solving and analytical skills are essential in this role, as you will be required to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.

You will also be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance, ensuring machine uptime, and providing technical support and training to customers. Additionally, you will maintain proper documentation of service activities and coordinate with the Service Manager and Head Office for escalations and support.

To succeed in this role, you must be able to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, commission, and service machinery at client sites.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues (mechanical/electrical) and provide effective solutions.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure machine uptime.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers.
  • Maintain proper documentation of service activities (reports, checklists, etc.).
  • Coordinate with the Service Manager and Head Office for escalations and support.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt service and professional interaction.

Requirements:

  • Education:
  • Diploma / BE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience:
  • Fresher or up to 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills:
  • Strong technical knowledge in mechanical or electrical fundamentals.
  • Basic understanding of industrial machinery.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70% of the time).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
