Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer to join our team at Ace Recruitment & Placement Consultants Pvt. Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing analytical approaches tailored to organizational needs, understanding business problems through sessions with business SMEs, and translating these into analytical requirements.



Key Responsibilities

1. Analytical Approach & Problem Solving

- Design and implement analytical approaches tailored to organizational needs.

- Understand business problems through sessions with business SMEs and translate these into analytical requirements.

2. User Requirements & Collaboration

- Gather detailed user requirements.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality results.

3. Analytical Tool Delivery

- Oversee the delivery of analytical tools from the discovery phase to iterative development.

- Maintain communication with business SMEs throughout the project lifecycle.

4. Analytical Solutions Development

- Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and interactive reports across global functions and disciplines.

- Ensure the solutions are performant and scalable.

5. Junior Analyst Coaching

- Mentor and guide junior analysts in the development of analytical solutions.

6. Data Preparation & Automation

- Build workflows and scripts for data preparation, cleansing, and rapid prototyping.

- Automate repetitive tasks to improve speed and efficiency.

7. Stakeholder Management

- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration in delivering analytical solutions.

8. Agile Workflow & Backlog Management

- Manage user feedback, prioritize bug fixes, and enhancement requests.

- Work in Agile Sprints to deliver updates and improvements post go-live.

9. Post-Deployment Support

- Handle enhancement requests to drive product adoption and support change management.

- Ensure thorough testing of products before go-live and manage any post-deployment issues.

10. Project Management & Risk Mitigation

- Raise any project issues or risks promptly to the project manager.

- Ensure timely and effective delivery of all project tasks.

Qualification & Experience:

1. Education

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in fields such as Business, Computer Science, Statistics, or Data Science.

2. Professional Experience

- 2-5 years of relevant experience as an Analyst or Power BI Developer.

- FMCG experience is highly desirable but not mandatory.

3. Technical Skills

- Power BI Expertise: Strong skills in building interactive visualizations using Power BI, Power Query, and DAX.

- Programming: Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages.

- ETL and SQL: Experience with building ETL pipelines and proficiency in SQL.

4. Soft Skills

- Excellent communication skills for translating business logic into analytical solutions.

- Ability to simplify complex logic and present it clearly to stakeholders.

- Strong time-management and deadline adherence skills.

- A self-driven attitude to sense-check and validate numbers independently.

5. Collaboration & Agile Experience

- Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating across time zones.

- Experience working in Agile and DevOps teams is highly desirable.

6. Other Skills

- Statistical analysis knowledge is a plus.

- Comfortable working in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
