Director of Artificial Intelligence

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Artificial Intelligence to drive the development of centralized AI infrastructure and acceleration solutions that enhance team efficiency, productivity, and customer impact.

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered platform features
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps and prioritize projects
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on software development best practices
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve engineering standards, maintain high availability, and optimize low-latency streaming pipelines
  • Evangelize state-of-the-art practices on building high-performance distributed training jobs and tooling to observe data quality

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering
  • At least 2+ years of engineering management experience
  • Proven track record of designing, building, and scaling production applications
  • Experience in upleveling junior engineers and fostering a culture of high-quality code and software engineering processes
  • Deep understanding of machine learning and its applications in finance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Background in working with Golang, Docker, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
  • Experience with AI/LLM models
