Job Responsibilities

As a Senior QA / Test Engineer, you will be an integral part of our full-stack Salesforce solution delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand integration requirements and develop comprehensive test plans, including test scenarios, test cases and acceptance criteria.
  2. Test Execution: Perform comprehensive functional, integration and regression testing for MuleSoft integrations.
  3. Automation: Design and implement automated test scripts to boost efficiency and increase test coverage. Utilize various testing frameworks and tools for automation.
  4. Defect Management: Identify, document and prioritize defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  5. Collaboration: Engage with developers, business analysts and other teams to understand business processes and integration points. Participate in project meetings and provide regular testing status updates.
  6. Reporting: Generate comprehensive test reports for management and stakeholders, providing valuable input on the overall quality of implemented solutions.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in MuleSoft and Salesforce testing. Propose and implement process improvements to enhance our testing methodology.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Test Engineer in MuleSoft environments.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of API testing methodologies and tools.
  • Proven experience with automation frameworks and scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
  • Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related STEM field.
