Incident Response Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to ensure prompt and effective incident response.

  • Detection and Analysis: Identify potential security incidents by monitoring and analyzing security alerts and events from multiple sources, including SIEM systems, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security tools.
  • Incident Response: Respond to and investigate security incidents, including data breaches, ransomware attacks, insider threats, and system compromises. Coordinate and execute incident response actions to contain and mitigate the impact of security events.
  • Triage and Escalation: Perform initial triage by assessing the severity and impact of incidents and escalate as needed to ensure timely resolution.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address security incidents effectively.
  • Familiarity with security tools and technologies, including SIEM systems, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
