Job Title: Cybersecurity Consultant - Incident Response SpecialistJob Description:A seasoned cybersecurity expert is required to join our team as an Incident Response Specialist. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling complex security incidents, including data breaches, malware infections, and DDoS attacks.

This role requires a highly skilled professional who can coordinate incident response efforts, develop incident response plans, and analyze security incidents to determine the root cause and scope of impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate incident response activities, including data breach remediation and threat hunting.
  • Develop and implement incident response plans and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform digital forensics analysis and identify potential threats before they escalate into incidents.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address security incidents.
  • Provide real-time technical guidance and support during incident response activities.
  • Conduct post-incident reviews and create detailed reports with recommendations for improvement.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology.
  • Industry certifications such as Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity incident response, including handling advanced persistent threats (APTs).
  • Knowledge of industry-standard incident response frameworks and security monitoring tools.
  • Experience with digital forensics tools and techniques.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Expertise in incident response, threat analysis, and mitigation.
  • Ability to work under pressure in high-stress environments during security incidents.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Knowledge of network and endpoint security technologies.
Preferred Experience:
  • Background in digital forensics, malware analysis, or threat intelligence.
  • Experience working in a Telecommunications and Technology environment.
