Lead Livelihoods Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Livelihoods Strategist to spearhead our rural livelihoods strategy in Punjab. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, piloting, and scaling innovative livelihood models that address rural challenges while enhancing dignity of work, women's participation, and climate resilience.

The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate degree in Rural Development, Management, Social Work, Agriculture, or related fields, with 10–15 years of progressive experience in livelihoods, rural development, or community enterprise building. Proven track record of leading large-scale livelihood initiatives in India, preferably in Punjab/North India, is required. Strong understanding of social enterprises, women's economic empowerment, agriculture, and allied sectors is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive livelihoods strategy aligned with our vision and socio-economic realities.
• Design sustainable income-generating opportunities for rural communities.
• Build models that can scale across Punjab and ensure long-term community ownership.
• Lead end-to-end program design and planning.
• Ensure integration of technology, digital literacy, and market linkages in livelihood programs.

Requirements:

• Postgraduate degree in Rural Development, Management, Social Work, Agriculture, or related fields.
• 10–15 years of progressive experience in livelihoods, rural development, or community enterprise building.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale livelihood initiatives in India, preferably in Punjab/North India.
