Job Purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, leading, executing, and delivering cyber security projects within defined scope, schedule, budget, and dedicated quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, lead, execute, and deliver cyber security projects

Project Initiation

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and analyzing business needs, stakeholders, and linkages to other projects and defining project scope and objectives.

They will also be responsible for formulating the project plan, ensuring procurement involvement, defining project execution and delivery model, determining budget, and required resources, clarifying role and involvement level of team members, and acquiring approval.

Project Execution

The Cyber Security Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and accountable managing project activities, managing and mitigating project risks, issues, changes, and deviations, and taking corrective actions when necessary.

They will also be responsible for building a comprehensive set of retrievable and broadly accessible project documentation, including reporting.

Project Delivery and Closure

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring readiness for mechanical completion and handover to operations, evaluating and closing the project, identifying and analyzing lessons learned, archiving project documents, and handing over the project to operations and/or line management and PMO.

They will also be responsible for ensuring completion of project objectives, realization of deliverables, continuous improvement of project management skills, feedback relevant data to PMO, and acceptance of end product by business.

Relations Management

The Cyber Security Project Manager will be responsible for building, maintaining, and utilizing a network of in- and external stakeholders/partners and representing the project within the organization.

They will also be responsible for ensuring that the network is sustainable and accessible and contributes to project success.

Project Information

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing insights regarding quantitative and qualitative developments by means of periodical progress, financial, risk, and ad hoc reports and/or analyses to the project champion and the project Steering Committee.

They will also be responsible for ensuring that project information enables management and/or other stakeholders to make timely decisions and determine or adjust the project plan.

People Management and Development

The Cyber Security Project Manager will be responsible for attracting, leading, coaching, appraising, and developing employees, ensuring staffing, and stimulating talent management.

They will also be responsible for ensuring that the project team is engaged, deployable (quantitative and qualitative), and capable of realizing the department/team objectives.

Negotiations

The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating, strategically, technically, and financially consulted by procurement with internal and/or external parties, acquiring approval, and/or closing contracts/SLAs and monitoring compliance with contracts/SLAs.

They will also be responsible for ensuring that services of internal and/or external parties are against reasonable quality and price.

Specifics

The Cyber Security Project Manager will remain responsible for budget and schedule control, project final documentation, and financial close-out after handover to operations.

We believe you bring relevant content experience in different multiple units of chemical plants, disciplines, locations (cultures – international environment), and/or other companies, minimum 5 years of experience in cyber security projects, more than 8 years project management experience, a minimum of 6 years relevant works experience in an international corporation, significant relevant work experience and broad general knowledge of information security IT security management, experience supporting and working on various cyber security technology projects such as SIEM, Logging tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, UEBA, knowledge of authentication technologies such as privileged access management, Active Directory, etc., knowledge of networking and networking protocols, Master/bachelor's degree in business management, computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or a related field of study, professional certification - PMP or equivalent, and cyber security certifications a plus.
