Bilingual Frontend Developer Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Angular developer to join our team in a bilingual role. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining POS and backend applications in our Retail sector.

  • Develop high quality software that meets customer requirements and promotes re-use of software components.
  • Design and implement new product features and make modifications to existing product features, including technical documentation.
  • Diagnose, isolate and resolve system failures caused by errors in software code.
  • Conduct unit tests, track problems and implement changes to ensure adherence to test plans and functional/nonfunctional requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Response Team to resolve problems with released software.
  • Embody a commitment to quality, software engineering best practices and data protection.
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings, sprint planning and work estimates.
  • Provide input into and participate in release management decisions.
  • Effectively drive issues to resolution and find solutions to challenging problems.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in Engineering practices.
  • Utilize software-based system maintenance and tracking tools.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, user help materials and customer training.
  • Analyze, design and implement software mechanisms to improve code stability, performance and reusability.
  • Apply debugging and troubleshooting techniques to understand and resolve defects found in software.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years development experience in Angular, JavaScript and frontend technologies.
  • Strong grasp of Windows platform.
  • Good understanding of memory management.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with a global team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Strong Web development skills.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development and Quality Assurance best practices.
  • Ability to document requirements using word documents and/or UML diagrams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Retail Grocery POS solutions.
  • Experience with POS and Self-Checkout Integrations.
  • Experience with Cloud development.
