Cloud Sales Manager Job Overview

The role of the Cloud Sales Manager is pivotal in driving the growth of cloud solutions within an assigned region. The key responsibilities include fostering customer relationships, understanding client needs, and positioning cloud offerings to effectively meet their requirements.

The Cloud Sales Manager will develop and execute strategies to drive sales of cloud services, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS). This involves identifying and qualifying leads, building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions align with client requirements and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive sales of cloud services.
  • Identify and qualify leads, understanding client needs and tailoring solutions accordingly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions align with client requirements and capabilities.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts, effectively communicating the value proposition of cloud services.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close deals, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in cloud computing.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of proven IT cloud sales experience.
  • Working experience in AWS partner company.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exposure to various cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure.
  • Basic sales certifications in AWS / Azure (AWS / Azure Sales certified – foundation & business professional).
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite
