Opcentre Developer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Opcentre R&D developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing workflows, data models, and business rules based on Opcenter R&D LIMS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, configure, and customize Opcenter R&D (LIMS) based on business requirements.
  • Design and implement workflows, data models, and business rules based on Opcenter R&D data model.
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Support system deployment, go-live activities, and post-implementation support.
  • Integrate Opcenter R&D with ERP (SAP), MES (Opcenter Execution), PLM, and other enterprise systems.
  • Ensure proper data flow between lab equipment and the LIMS.

Qualifications:

  • B.E degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3-8 years of experience in software development with a focus on Opcenter R&D.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, Python, or VBScript for customization.
  • Experience with REST APIs, XML, JSON, and Web Services.
  • Familiarity with database management (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

Preferred Skills:

  • Decision-making power.
  • Decision on the Solution implementation of the User Stories by the development team.
  • Define & design overall solutions for Opcenter R&D.

Organizational Level Agile Team Meetings:

Participation in Daily, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, Refinement meetings, PI Planning, PI System Demo.
