About this role

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Consultant with hands-on experience in the Biologics or Drug Discovery CRO sector.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, managing client relationships, and supporting business growth initiatives. This includes conducting in-depth market research to support lead generation and competitive analysis, establishing and maintaining relationships with clients globally, and representing the company in client meetings and industry events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Biologics and CRO sectors
  • Develop and execute effective business development strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Manage the entire BD cycle from prospecting to closing deals and post-sales follow-up
  • Track sales pipeline, prepare periodic business development reports, and provide forecasts to management

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development for Biologics or Drug Discovery CROs
  • Strong analytical thinking and decision-making ability
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Sound understanding of drug discovery, biologics lifecycle, and outsourcing models

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or Business Management
