Job Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Art Director to elevate our creative design capabilities at a strategic client level.

This role will provide technical and creative assistance on high-end critical projects, working closely with the operations team to establish effective frameworks for high-quality project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, be able to partner with senior resources to develop innovative solutions, and collaborate with Project Managers and Operation Leads to identify new opportunities.

Responsibilities include engaging with client contacts, making design decisions, and managing resources for effective project execution.

The successful candidate will facilitate collaboration between multiple teams with diverse skill sets to achieve superior client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Elevate the creative design team's capabilities and deliverables at a strategic client level.
  • Provide technical and creative assistance on high-end critical projects.
  • Work with the operations team to establish effective frameworks for high-quality project delivery.
  • Partner with senior resources to develop innovative alternative solutions and workflows.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Operation Leads to identify new opportunities and set up teams.
  • Engage with client contacts, understand their briefs, and make design decisions.
  • Maintain the overall design quality of the teams, working closely with key individuals on critical projects.
  • Facilitate collaboration between multiple teams with diverse skill sets to achieve superior client outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in a publishing house environment.
  • Technical proficiency in multiple design tools.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for detail.
  • Effective planning and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work on Mac-based or Windows-based workstations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
