Join a dynamic team as we seek a seasoned Data Governance Expert to spearhead the implementation and administration of our data governance platform. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing and configuring the operating model, building custom workflows, and integrating the platform with various systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for data governance, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Design and configure the data governance platform, including domains, assets, workflows, and roles.
  • Create and optimize custom workflows using BPMN and Workflow Designer.
  • Integrate the data governance platform with various systems via APIs and connectors.
  • Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and leadership to enforce governance policies and data stewardship models.
  • Establish frameworks for data cataloging, lineage, metadata, and quality management.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and best practices to business and technical teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 6+ years in data governance, metadata management, or data quality.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with data governance platforms, including configuration, workflow design, and integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, stewardship, and lifecycle management.
  • Expertise with APIs, BPMN, and scripting (Groovy, JavaScript).
  • Experience with data catalog, business glossary, and lineage in data governance platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms: Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Informatica.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Certification in data governance or related field strongly preferred.
